I would put this leaning against the wall on the mantle...

I love the dragonflies

Here's the greenery, ladies! Don't you love Paperwhites!
I would replace our heavy wool rug with a seagrass...
What about replacing the fan with a chandelier...I can see my husband shaking his head now...

Ohh I just had this conversation with my husband the other day. Funny thing is I will STILL shop for a bargain and I would STILL probably come home empty handed, LOL. The same way with clothing..something has to REALLY catch my eye before I will buy it. I guess that is why my home is so bare (I'm working on it) and I have very FEW clothes, LOL!

Perfect! I saw some similar framed pics that were framed wrapping paper. The greenery is perfect. Looks like it is time to look for some deals!:) You have such great taste!
ReplyDeleteCathy...I think I learned it from my mother. She could buy the most expensive things, but she will always look for a bargain. It's just smart shopping!
ReplyDeleteSassy...framed wrapping paper...that's a great idea. I also have seen calendar pages framed. Yes...I'm on a hunt for some bargains!
ROFL sorry the word should have been "would" both times not "will"..We are just plain ol' country folk, LOL, that made it sound like I had money or won the lottery..NOT!!
ReplyDeleteLove the post though..makes you stop and think what you can change.

OK, you must buy those two lamps and the seagrass rug. That would really be all you need to lighten up that room.
ReplyDeleteEasy huh?
Oh, yes...I'll take all of that as well. Pick me up some when you get them...he he!
ReplyDeleteI love inspiration pieces...esp. cheaper versions that look similar.
You should come by the blog tonight or tomorrow, I have something to share...in the decor dep. that is.
Will do, Katy! I am going to be on the hunt for "replicas" of these little jewels!
