I Didn't See That One Coming...

Conversation in the car on the way home from school....

Preston: "Mom, Santa doesn't put the stuff in our stockings does he?"

Me: "Yes, he does."

Preston: "Then why does the sign at the dollar store say 'Stocking Stuffers'?"

Yikes...I didn't see that one coming...

    I hate that.....it's everywhere! I haven't been asked, but I plan to say that they are for friends.....when you buy gifts for friends and add little extras.....that it's just a catchy label.

    That's kind of what I said. I told him they just called those little gifts "stocking stuffers" because they were small enough to fit in a stocking. Whew...=)

    Oh crap. Never would of seen that one coming either.

    Lucky for us, the stockings are from Mommy and Daddy. The rest is from Santa.

    But that doesn't help much, lots of explaining still...
