Elf on the Shelf Clock!
I was looking for a Christmas craft to do with the boys, and I came across the cutest clock on the Elf on the Shelf website and knew instantly they would love it! We had the majority of the materials at home needed to complete the clock...minus the main part...a real working quartz mechanism. That's where Ryan comes in...I called him at work, told him how to print a 40% off coupon for Michaels, and off he went to pick up the clock parts on the way home from work! Love that man!
Later that night...
Preston coloring the face of the clock. Later you'll see the "nontraditional" colors he chose for Elfie and his clock!
Ryan trying to wake up Carter, who had fallen asleep on the couch, so he could join in on the fun!
Listening to Preston tell me his thoughts on how to wrap the box! Such a smart little guy...
Consulting the directions again
Making the hole for the clock parts!
Matching up the holes...
Ryan "installing" the clock!
The finished project! A real working clock!
The boys loved this craft! Even "The Teenager" made a remark about its cool-factor when he saw it. So much fun!

Love this! So cute!!!
And to answer your question on my blog:
I was so not at McDonalds yesterday aroudn 3:30 getting a cheeseburger before going to Albertson's to get stuff to go home and make fudge! Why you ask? It was most definately not me...and if you thought it was me then you are sorely mistaken. I did not eat said cheeseburger in about 4 bites in the parking lot of Albertsons because I was in a hurry to go get my littleman from school...and go home to make fudge...and burn it. nope, you got the wrong person! - December 9, 2009 at 1:39 PM
