New York Family Vacation 2009 {Part Two}

A Day at the Hill!
Our winter gear finally arrived on day 2...thank goodness because it was F.R.E.E.Z.I.N.G.....a windchill of -2 freezing I might add!  As soon as I signed for the box the Fed Ex man so nicely delivered to the garage entry, due to a massive amount of snow covering the walkway to the front door, we bundled up, loaded up and drove to the snow hill a few minutes away.  Here are some pics of the fun!

Let's get ready to rumble!

Hubby and I....Can you see the ghetto trash bags on Ryan's feet?!  He used these for the first half hour or so until Carol sweetly rescused his feet by purchasing him a pair of warm boots!  Thanks, Carol!

Carter climbing to the top of the hill!

Wait for me!

Preston!

Austin on his way back up for about the 20th time! It was a haul!

Ryan and Carter going down backwards!

Hard at work!

Precious...

For some reason, Carter ended up in the wooded area every single time!

Waiting their turn

Whew....I'm tired!

Ryan took this right after we went down the hill on the sled together.  My husband is such a kid at heart...love it! The boys got such a kick out of this!

Great times!
Tomorrow's post begin's our journey into the city...New York City that is!!!

  2. So true. T had a blast! He's already talking about us going skiing with the Starnes crew this season after seeing their pictures. Kids just love the snow; and real snow at that!
