This is what our kitchen looks like right now:
Would you like to come over for a bite to eat?
Nice.
It's a freaking disaster, friends.
Our house cleaner usually comes on Mondays,
but we cancelled this week because let's face it...
the real mess is being made as I type.
See this little "S":
JoAnn's has a whole new line of embellishments, like this monogram, which are self-adhesive.
The "S" cost me $7.99.
Love it.
I have to take a moment to brag on this kid right here:
It's no secret the trials and tribulations we've have with
"The Teenager" over the past year or so, but friends,
life is good...so good...with him right now.
Since starting his new school 4 weeks ago,
his attitude, behavior, grades have been
WONDERFUL!
Ryan and I have discussed it several times lately and are
thrilled with the turnaround.
I cannot even begin to express the happiness
I am feeling regarding this child.
I haven't said this in a long time, but I will shout it from the roof tops
and tell him every day...
WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU, AUSTIN!!
He is proud of himself.
I know that because he told us.
Awesome.
Praying for the continuation of the transformation!
That's it!
Happy Wednesday!!

ReplyDeleteAs for the teenager...WOOT WOOT!!

ReplyDeletei can't believe all that for one little hole! you'll have it back together in no time!
ReplyDeleteyeah for the teenager!
I'm so sorry about the kitchen! That can't be fun! I hope it gets fixed soon. Yay for Austin! I'm so glad he's doing so much better. Will kept saying on the way home the other day how good of a driver Austin was with the golf cart! :-)
ReplyDeleteLove,
Shelley
What a mess! You weren't kidding!
ReplyDeleteSo happy Austin is enjoying his new school and has a good attitude!
Yeah, I am glad Austin has returned. I am so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteI love that S
That kitchen is gaw-ross!
I don't think I could even be in the house.
That kitchen would have me in a fetal position and I would be drinking in the morning for sure.
ReplyDeleteAnd what did my mom tell you? That it would get sooo much better with Austin, sooner than later. GOOD FOR YOU AUSTIN!
Having great parents makes great kiddos, with trials and tribulations through the journey.
Cute S!
ReplyDeleteAnd so happy that Austin's not being an a-hole anymore :) hehe Makes you wonder if there was something at his old school that was making him unhappy?? Or maybe it's just being a teenager! Nonetheless - glad he's back to his old self.
Kitchen = bad news. So, so sorry. And no, I'll pass on the dinner invitation right now.
