A Spooky Tree!

We went on a golf cart ride
checking out the outdoor fall/Halloween decor
sprouting up all over the neighborhood on Saturday,
and while doing so, we saw a big tree with fallen branches strewn about.
Well...Ryan and the boys saw branches...I saw a Halloween tree in the making.
The boys and I jumped out and collected our branches.
Fast forward one day, I went to Walmart looking for a base for the tree.
I found this $10.00 sad little arrangement but loved the shape of the container.
So......I ripped all that mess out.
I sprayed the branches and the urn flat black:
I then pushed the branches into the foam
already in the urn from the original arrangement
forming a "tree".
 I added a crow:
some Spanish moss and tags with Halloweenish words:
a little bit of leftover spider webbing:
 Hello, Mr. Bones:
 You likey?

  6. Oh yes, me likey. You are so creative. I have some of those black crows that I bought on clearance at Pottery Barn last year that are still just laying around because I'm too lazy to do something creative like that. How about I trade you my pumpkin/gourd sign for your tree?

  11. Me likey your Halloween tree. I keep saying I am going to make one, but then I don't. And now I wouldn't know where to put it if I did. Maybe next year.
