Just sayin.
The weather has been gorgeous this weekend.
Perfect.
Perfect baseball weather.
Perfect outdoor weather.
Doesn't get any better than this time of the year.
I know...I said the same thing when spring rolled around.
We spent several hours at ballparks on Saturday.
{Mom...seriously. Put the camera away.}
But if I put it away,
I couldn't capture moments like this of father and son.
I love these 2 guys.
Mirror images of each other.
On Friday, my precious mother and I went to
Christmas in Cowtown
hosted by the Fort Worth Junior League,
where I got pulled over for speeding,
got out of the ticket because I honestly had NO idea I was speeding,
almost had to get out of my car and let a lady know
that I had been waiting several minutes for a parking spot
that she swiftly scooped up right before my very eyes,
was able to see a sweet blogger friend, Sara,
was able to see a sweet blogger friend, Sara,
and finally bought this iron planter for our front porch:
I filled it with munms, pumpkins, more grapevine garland and a few little nods to Halloween!
I found the Halloween sign at the grocery store of all places.
I love all the different color variations.
I couldn't decide which pics I liked best...so I included them all.
I'm nuerotic like that.
Did you notice the little guy in the cornstalk?
They're all over the place these days.
We spent a lot of time outside on the patio this weekend.
I caught up on pages filled with eye candy
while the boys played and Ryan watched football.
Awesome.
Awesome.
On Saturday evening,
we hung out with our baseball crew friends...
6 couples and all our kids.
Always a good time.
Other than a major set back with
"The Teenager"
it was a great weekend.
Teenagers keep you on your toes, my friends.
Not the kind of "on your toes" like a ballerina.
We're talking "on your toes" like watch out for the broken glass.
Here's to a fresh start beginning with a new week!
I have several fun projects planned.
Shocker.
I went to Christmas in Cowtown on Thursday. Last year I was 38 1/2 weeks preggers and I couldn't buy a darn baby item b/c I didn't know the sex....needless to say I bought some cute stuff for little man this time around...

Love your fall decor! Your photos are fabulous...sounds like a great weekend. I never made it to Christmas in Cowtown...bummer!
ReplyDeleteLove the planter. Your blog and your boys are adorable! Does your baseball crew get loud in restaurants? I used to feel so bad for all those unsuspecting people just trying to eat their dinner - we'd take over one whole side of some place and the poor waitress would need a valium by the time we left! Such fun times.
ReplyDeleteJust blogging around this evening, and found your blog. It's so much fun reading the different blogs, it's like meeting alot of new people, seeing their talents and just plain enjoyable. I love your Halloween decorations. Thank you for letting me visit.
