The Adult Water Thing...
One of my favorite parts of weekday mornings is listening to the boys' conversations in the bathtub. In order to monitor the "splash level", they all...minus Austin...take a bath together in our bathroom, and Ryan can attest to the interesting conversations that take place tub side! After they finish bathing and get dressed, they search for Elfie the Elf to see who can find him first...It's a MAJOR competition at our house. This morning, Carter happened to see him on the way to the bathroom, and he was so proud of himself. =) As the boys jumped in the water, the conversation began..
Carter: "Guys, I found Elfie!" Preston: "Where is he?" Trysten: "Don't tell us because we have to find him too!" Carter: "He's on the adult water thing!" Trysten: "Uhhhh! I told you not to tell us!" Preston: "What's the adult water thing?" Carter: "You know that thing that has all that adult water on it!"

We are your typical, average, American family...SO not. Although we aren't typical, I love my family, and perhaps that's why I do! Ryan and I met on blind date, September 11th, 2006, and ever since that night...we have been inseparable. I came into the marriage with 3 amazing little boys...Austin would kill me if he knew I called him little...Austin 17, Preston 12 and Carter 9, and to add to the already forming basketball team, Ryan came with Trysten...only 7 months younger than Preston! Life in our home is anything but placid. There is always activity, noise, laughter and love, and we wouldn't have it any other way!
