I have always felt comfortable listening to country music in the car with the boys until recently...
Picture this little cowboy:
in the back seat singing along to Lady Antebellum's song "Need You Now", as the following line comes out of his precious mouth...
"I'm a little drunk, and I need you now.."
Try not laughing at that! I wouldn't be judging country music if it weren't for the fact that 3 days earlier, we were in the car, and Carter said,
"Mom, when I grow up, I'm going to drink 2 things...milk and beer."
My response was, "What?! Why?"
To which Carter replied, "Because that song on the radio said beer is good!"
Straight from Billy Currington's song "People Are Crazy"...
Completely innocent lines, but just not something you want your 5 year old saying...

my little lady calls it 'Deer'... as in 'daddy, do you want a deer?'
we are not sure if this is a good thing...
That made me laugh! Yes, we forget that they do absorb all they hear:)
