Change Number Two

We are doing it...I know where your mind just went, Coco, but I didn't mean it like that.
This weekend is a kid-free weekend, and other than a date night with my hubby on Friday and a triple date with 2 other couples from the baseball crew for sushi...along with hopefully meeting up with friends celebrating Alisha's sweet hubby's birthday, Ryan and I will working like craazaay to get our house ready to put on the market.  Yes, we're taking the plunge into the housing market...which has seen better days, but who's current trend is showing great signs of improvement.

The reason for the move, you ask? Well, it's like this. Since I'm not going to be teaching next school year, Preston and Carter would have to go to the school our neighborhood is zoned for and then move again after next school year because Austin would then be going into high school, and we don't want him going to the one we're zoned for...so we were going to move to Prosper...hopefully...after next school year regardless. Did all that make sense?

Preparing to put your house on the market is a beating. Packing is a beating. Keeping your house spotless is a beating. Moving is a beating. It's like childbirth....after all the work, you get something really nice out of it in the end. Here's to a busy weekend!!

Happy Thursday!!

Putting the house on the market is such a beating!! We did it last year right about the time Hudson was born. Add in a new baby and I'm surprised I didn't end up in the looney bin. Good luck!!
And you're so right about the housing market. Signs are definitely pointing up on that front. My best friend is a realtor and she's so busy right now she can't keep it all straight. I tell her that that's a good "problem" to have!!

As Sara said -- it is a beating. It's almost like you're living in someone else's house. Good luck! can't wait to hear how it goes!

I've only moved myself out of apartments. I can't imagine moving a whole house. I'll know someday....eek! Good luck :)

Having a house on the market sucks, no doubt about that, but moving to a new one is fabu!!! Hope it sells quickly. We had a stager come in and I think that really helped ours sell quickly. Just a thought . . .

Nothing is more of a beating than moving and I can't imagine all the shit y'all have with 55 kids.

Good luck, I had no idea!! Exciting things going down in Soladaytown.
