Taking the Good With the Bad

The Bad:
All the work Ryan and I did over the weekend to our back yard blew away Sunday night.
Literally blew away.
We had 80 mile per hour winds and hail the size of golf balls.
Nice.
Our roof has to be replaced
as well as all the gutters on the west side of our house and pipes and vents all over the roof.
Let's talk about my car.
It lost it's spot in the garage after Ryan brought his new toy home, so it sat outside during the storm.
It is now covered in dings.
Literally covered.
My back right taillight is broken too.
Nice.

The Good:
We are going with 2 other couples to this on Saturday night at Cowboy Stadium:
I am so incredibly excited!
SANDBAR seats right next to the stage!
The concert starts at 4:30, but we're heading out around 1:30 to tailgate before the show.
Ryan and I are HUGE fans of both Kenny Chesney and the Zac Brown Band,
and only craziness can be expected with the 3 couples going.
It is going to be such a great time!

You have to take the good with the bad!
Have a great week, friends!

Sucky about the storm. At least you're renting your house. Right? Does that mean the homeowner has to figure all that out? YAY on Kenny! woot!

We paid for all new new mulch and plantings, but they will cover the majot damage costs. Thank goodness!

Gotta love those Spring storms in TX! Ugh...so sorry about the roof, your poor car and all of your hardwork in the yard! I have a rule that I do nothing to our yard until after Easter. For some reason, we always seem to get another ice storm or a big hail storm before that. It never fails.

You need to bring your boys over for Mayfest this year. I'll email you about it.

JEALOUS of the concert!! Want to go some year to see Kenny Chesney...love him!

That storm was out of control! Hazel about bit my nip off because I was up feeding her when a loud crash of thunder hit! She was madder than a freaking hornet!

We went to see kenney last night here in Wichita, ks. Two days ago they announced that Zac Brown Band wasn't coming. Instead, Billy currinton was in his place. We were sooo disappointed, especially our son who loves ZBB. But let me say, uncle cracker, Billy and Kenny ROCKED!! Enjoy! Kenny signed lots of stuff to those lucky people in the sandbar.

I would be disappointed in ZBB not being there, but we are huge fans of Billy Curington too. Either way, we're good! Thanks so much!
