Stuff

Hello, friends!
Here's what's going on lately:

* Trysten and Carter made movies all.weekend.long.
I found this one on my phone before I made them switch to T's iPod.
{I do realize this might not be as entertaining to you as it is to me,
so feel free to skip viewing it.}

I need to figure out how to get the movies off his iPod.
A couple of them really are funny.
Trysten is a character.
I love those boys.
* I spent a lot of time over the weekend working on things for my art classroom for next year.
I made some posters for different artist studies.
Five down.
Twenty to go.
That's definitely a summer project.
And some art work for the art room
I am seriously excited about my new venture and
can't wait to show y'all my art room when construction is complete!

* Ryan and I are headed to Winstar this weekend
for:
So ready for a weekend getaway.
Ryan bought 2 extra seats to sell,
so if you know anyone who wants to go on Saturday night,
he's selling them for $200 a piece, row A10 center stage.

* It's teacher appreciation week which means nonstop food.
Well, actually today we had food and a 15 minute chair
massage paid for by our PTO.
They are they best.
They give their time endlessly.
Tomorrow we're having a baked potato bar with all the trimmings.
Yum.
Bad timing since I have to wear a bathing suit for the first time this weekend.
Today the kids wrote their teachers notes of appreciation,
and I really wasn't expecting any since I'm just the long term sub for a third grade class while their teacher is out on maternity leave..
I was surprised and thrilled when the kids put them on my desk this morning.
I have the best job ever.

* I cannot believe we have only 17 days of school left.
I can smell the sunscreen already.
It's the best smell ever.
It means freedom.
It means no alarm in the morning.
It means staying up late, spontaneous family outings and weekend getaways with my hubby.
It means days by the pool and nights on the patio.
Love it.

Here's to 17 more school days 'til summer!
Have a great rest of your week!

You are so talented!! Can't wait to see your finished room. I love your passion for art :)

Look for my brother, Austin at ZBB. He's going with my aunt. He's sooo excited. Although I'm not sure he even knows any of their songs. He's more of a George Strait and Brooks & Dunn kind of guy. ha!

Have fun!!

You are on the ball with already doing things for next year! That's the way to do it though.. then you aren't cramming everything in at the last minute!
I bet you're ready to head to Hot Springs!
I'll be there in August!! Maybe a little boat action!
