February...
Wanna know what I love...February...not because it means spring is just around the corner, or that spring break is next month, or that my adorable niece will celebrate her first birthday in 2 weeks, and definitely not that I will be turning 35 in 2 weeks....but because it is a month spent celebrating the ones we love...Love month...not to mention, I have an excuse to fulfill my currently out of control inner love of art projects with the boys. It took some persuasive lingo, but I think I have Carter and Preston on board for some homemade Valentines even though Backugan cards were top on their list. I found several really creative projects/card ideas online, but they all seem too "girlie" for my guys. Feel free to pass on your suggestions...I'm all ears, Casey! I am fairly confident however, that over the weekend, we will be making the cupcakes pictured below...

Thanks for stopping by my blog! I love new friends! Okay...so I used to teach 5th grade in Keller! Small world, huh? Love the pics of all those handsome boys! I could just eat em up! (Not in a psycho/disturbing way...just in a good way! =)

Love those cupcakes! As Carter gets older, I try to incorporate more of what he loves - rather than what I think is cute - into this holiday. That way, he stays interested.
For example, maybe let them include pictures of Bakugan or Star Wars in their actual Valentines. People receiving them will love to see the personalization and they will also be true to what the boys "love".
For me, this one gets more challenging each year. I'd love to know what you find, too! -
