If Money Were No Object...

If money were no object, if I won the lottery, if I were not employed in one of the most underpaid professions...this is what I would add to my family room to make it feel more like spring...if money were no option...which it is...

Love these...

I would put this leaning against the wall on the mantle...
or this...
Or maybe this...

I love the dragonflies

Here's the greenery, ladies! Don't you love Paperwhites!
I would replace our heavy wool rug with a seagrass...
What about replacing the fan with a chandelier...I can see my husband shaking his head now...

I love the base of this lamp...

But...wouldn't 2 of these look great!?

I would love to incorporate this tassel The Nesting Place made...

I would replace my pillows with these... For the side tables...I have to have my family pictures...
Some more greenery...
For the tray on the ottoman
What do you think....

Ohh I just had this conversation with my husband the other day. Funny thing is I will STILL shop for a bargain and I would STILL probably come home empty handed, LOL. The same way with clothing..something has to REALLY catch my eye before I will buy it. I guess that is why my home is so bare (I'm working on it) and I have very FEW clothes, LOL!

Perfect! I saw some similar framed pics that were framed wrapping paper. The greenery is perfect. Looks like it is time to look for some deals!:) You have such great taste!

Cathy...I think I learned it from my mother. She could buy the most expensive things, but she will always look for a bargain. It's just smart shopping!

Sassy...framed wrapping paper...that's a great idea. I also have seen calendar pages framed. Yes...I'm on a hunt for some bargains!

ROFL sorry the word should have been "would" both times not "will"..We are just plain ol' country folk, LOL, that made it sound like I had money or won the lottery..NOT!!

Love the post though..makes you stop and think what you can change.

OK, you must buy those two lamps and the seagrass rug. That would really be all you need to lighten up that room.

Easy huh?

I love inspiration pieces...esp. cheaper versions that look similar.
You should come by the blog tonight or tomorrow, I have something to share...in the decor dep. that is.
