ICE!

With Christmas just around the corner, Ryan and I have started talking about fun things we would like to take the boys to see and do.  Typically, The Polar Express train ride would be included in the must do's, but sadly we both agree the boys are getting older and something a little more active and interactive might be a better choice.  With that being said, we have decided to buy tickets for the whole family to attend ICE! at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine!  If you aren't familiar with this attraction, you must check out their website

From the ICE! website:

"From The Grinch's frozen mountaintop lair... to the 20-foot-high ice slides... to built-in photo opportunity stops... right down to the picturesque Who-ville, complete with smoking chimneys and feasting Whos... ICE! featuring How The Grinch Stole Christmas! will make even the coldest of hearts grow three sizes."

If you and your family have been to this before, what were your thoughts?  Is there a better time than another to go?  We cannot wait to take the kids!

I want to do that with my family this year, too! Have never been but heard it's so neat!
We're going to try to do Polar Express. Love it and Gracie is at a great age for it. I think Haylee will still enjoy it as well.

Mrs. Soldaday,
Its Victoria Williams, and my dad works at the Gaylord so we go free every year. It is absolutely amazing! They have to types of slides all made of ice and everything is clored ice and the detail is incredible. The themee changes every year, but the one thing that remains is the amazing nativity scene at the end.
