Weekend Recap!

Tired.
That's what I am.
It took everything in me not to crawl back in bed this morning
after all the boys were off to school.
Why so tired, you ask?
We had a very busy family weekend.
It was a blast.
Every minute.

It started on Friday when we played golf at the club.
Well...Ed, Carol and Ryan played.
I must learn.
Especially since Carol donated her old golf bag to me on Saturday
after Ed surprised her with a new one.
She casually pointed to one she liked in the pro shop on Friday, and it was hers the next day.
Like father, like son.
The Soladay men are definitely keepers!

The weather...and company...were awesome.
I can barely contain myself watching this handsome man play 18 holes.
Watch out, ladies.
He's taken!
Beautiful course...
and club which we hope to join some day.
Love this family!
On Sunday, Ryan played golf with his parents again
and scooped up Trysten and Preston on the 7th hole
to join them for the remainder of the round.
Needless to say, our budding golfers were ecstatic!
Sweet boys.
Later that day, we had the whole family over
to celebrate Ryan, Austin and Carter's birthdays.
What a blast!

We had pink lemonade, fruit, potato salad, burgers on the grill and cookie cake for dessert!
Yum.
We played a little horseshoes.
Enjoyed laughing and relaxing on the patio
The boys bounced to their hearts' content!
Presents were opened
Good times were had by all!

Monday was Austin's birthday, and he requested a mother/son day.
Be still my heart.
It was such a treat.
Especially since his attitude has done a 360 since starting school.
He loves his new friends, new environment, teachers.
Everything.
It's awesome and once again solidifies the benefits
of our decision to make the move here.
We went out to lunch, and I took him to spend some of his birthday cash.
Love this kid.
Happy birthday, sugar!
We went out to dinner Sunday with Ed and Carol since it was their last night in town.
Counting down the days until their permanent return!
Could they look just a little more like father and son?
Our boys...
Things always get a little crazy after dinner:
Wouldn't have it any other way!
Good times!
Hope your weekend
was just as wonderful!!!

Happy Birthday to your gang. It looks like great fun. I am no good at golf. I wanted to be bad. My dad and my grandfather were, why not me? I love your chalk board on the door.

Love the chalkboard on your pantry. And the lemonade tag.

So happy to hear Austin is loving school! That's a relief!

Oh my goodness- the family pic. Every single person is looking AT the camera and smiling. Awesome!

Love your tag on the lemonade-- very cute!!

And I also want to learn how to play golf. My mom, my dad and Trey all play. I feel left out.
