Visual Candy....
Apothecary jars...enough said! Change the contents for the season, add a ribbon or a tassel, insert a favorite black and white picture, print out a favorite quote, cut it out with scrapbook scissors, or simply tear the edges, and tuck it inside...the possibilities are endless...
I am all over this next fall!
Anything monogrammed is beautiful! Heather...I might be contacting you soon!
My next project is making the chalkboard seen in the background. I can see this in the kitchen, a hallway scribbled with love notes to my hubby or sweet reminders for the kids or above a firplace or sofa. Love it!

I LOVE apothecary jars. We have them, too.....I used them for "Lainey's Sweet Shoppe" 1st birthday party! I, too, change out the decor inside.
Lots of cute stuff! I can't wait to have a house again to work on! - February 16, 2009 at 12:59 PM

Oh!!! Thank you for the advertisement!!! I have to say that you inspired me to monogram my own towels that have been waiting in my master bath to be monogrammed for over a year. They look fabulous! I LOVE LOVE LOVE anything CHALKBOARD. I have chalkboards all over my house - but my favorite is painted on my pantry door. just an idea.
a tip: they sell big huge chalboards at Lowes and you can frame it out yourself. I have one in my craft room. I think we got one when we built our house about 4 1/2 years ago. It might have been green and we painted over it with black chalkboard paint.
Thanks for more great ideas! I have spent a lot of time on Nestie and links from hers. I'm so glad you put her button on your blog. I am so inspired to decorate right now....and it's all YOUR FAULT...for posting the beautiful pics from your house and your decorating blogs. haha! I spent the whole day shopping for accessories today! :/ - February 16, 2009 at 8:01 PM

Oh my. Since we're new blogging friends, I'll break the bad news to you slowly.
I
suck
at
decorating.
I just moved into a new house and had to wait 3 weeks for someone to come decorate it. It was horrible. I love your ideas but there is NO WAY that I could possibly do any of that fancy stuff!
I'm liking the new header! Do you keep changing it or am I just imagining that? - February 17, 2009 at 12:13 AM

Impulsive....Sorry I keep calling you that, but I don't know your name....even though we've emailed back and forth several times!...Anyway, you can totally do all that "fancy stuff"! Look at the pics and copy what you see! That simple!
Yes, I do keep changing my header...I'm neurotic like that...=) - February 17, 2009 at 10:11 AM
