Not Enough...

I remember my mother saying there are never enough hours in the day, and as I replay the memory in my mind, I am feeling the angst of her complaint as we speak. Daily life has been so incredibly crazy lately, and I have found it extremely challenging to balance family and work. I tend to over extend myself....like having a full-time job and working on 3 different "curtain-making" jobs at the same time. Between grading papers, lesson planning, parent conferencing, meeting attending, sewing, baseball, soccer, homework, family and marriage time...I am FREAKING exhausted! I am so looking forward to summertime...32 more school days...Can I get an AMEN, sista!?

Amen! I have no clue how you do it. With a ft job and one kiddo, I can't seem to find time to get it all done and I don't have any cool projects going on either. Why the heck did I not become a tecaher? I need a summer off fo sho!

I feel your pain! Right about now, with softball season kicking into high gear for my youngest and AP exams on the horizon for my students (not to mention all the other activities my older two are involved in, plus PTA Board, my side consulting gig, and the other flurries of activities and goings-on in the household), I am just trying to stay afloat until June 12th. How many more days is that???

AMEN SISTA! You are quite the rock star and I don't like it one bit but I'm dealing with it by taking my meds on a more regular basis.

I remember those teaching days! I feel your pain. I am stressed out now as well, but there is NOTHING like a teachers stress. Teachers are definitely the hardest workers in America! :) It's almost Friday! Have a great weekend.
