You Likey?

One of the best parts of moving is redecorating, and that, my friends, is what we are doing.
No major changes...add a little something here/take away a little something there...except for in the master bedroom...Ryan's bachelor days suite has been sold via craigslist, and we are starting to purchase pieces one at a time so that the room has a more collected look...not so matchy matchy.  You follow?

Check out this beauty we have purchased to use as our dresser:
The colors in our prior master were very dark...we loved it...very cocoon-like...but we decided to add a little color in our lives and make our bedroom feel peaceful and calming...having 4 boys will cause one to do that.
Here are the fabrics we're working with...I'm making the bedding and curtains.
Feels very peaceful to me.
You likey?

working on living room and kitchen now.
keep your eye out for any cool kitchen tables!

Where did you find that dresser? I'm looking for something similar for a console for my dining room. I don't do matchy, matchy, either.

Fitz, do you live in Texas?

Moni: I found it at the new Frisco Mercantile at Preston and Main. Love that place! They have beautiful things, and it's huge! Their inventory is constantly changing.

Thanks, ladies!

I know you are doing curtains...do you do crib bedding? I will not be doing a bumper so it would be sheets...valance...dust ruffle...stuff like that. No matter what I will use you for the curtains. I have NO idea how to decorate...your input would be greatly appreciated!

Love the dresser! I want one! Our furniture in our bedroom is matchy, matchy because that's what you were supposed to do 10 years ago. I want new furniture, but that's not going to happen!!
Friso Mercantile? I can't place that in my head--Main and Preston?
Still need to get together so I can see the fabric! Maybe next week?
