So Much Going On...So Little Time!

Lots going on around Casa de Soladay.
Not a lot of time to write it all down.
Actually, I just haven't made the time to do so.
I've actually gone back to the good ol' gym,
so my usual blogging time in the mornings
has been replaced with cardio and weights.
It's not my idea of fun, my friends,
but let's face it...I'm not getting any younger.
I need to take care of the
body the big man upstairs gave me.

Here's what's been up:

{Pumpkin Patch}
We took the boys to the pumpkin
patch this past Thursday.
Fun as usual.
Even "TheTeenager" had a great time.

Love this rooster made out of old metal parts.

 As we were leaving,
the boys saw
this poor little guy pictured below.
I'll give you one guess as
to why they laughed hysterically at him.
Seriously?

{Where Did Those Come From?}
Since we moved into our home in May,
we had no idea what our yard would
look like in the transition from summer
to fall. We were completely shocked
to see these beautiful blooms:

Aren't they great!?

{I Heart My T-shirt}
While tailgating for the Arkansas/Aggie game,
a lady came around selling T-shirts
supporting breast cancer awareness month.
Ryan bought me one.
I don't think I'll be wearing it to the boys' games,
but I love it!

{Speaking of Shopping}
I hate shopping.
I really do.
Let me rephrase that.
I hate clothes shopping.
I can shop for things for our house all day
but clothing...not so much.
I used to like it.
Not sure what happened.
Anyhow.
I haven't bought any clothes for myself
in foreva, so it was time, ladies.
Ryan went with me {ALL day Saturday}and picked up a few diddies for himself.
Friends, he sat on every bench in the mall
waiting on me and never once complained.
Awesome.
He even picked out a few things for me that
I would never have tried on my own.
Love him.
Look at the damage:

Mama did NOT play around.
I can't wait to show you the sassy little pair
of heels I scored at Aldo when they come in the mail.
They didn't have my size in store,
so they were ordered and are
scheduled to be delivered by Wednesday.
Love me some good shoes.

{Halloween & The World Series}
Yes.
These 2 things do have something in common.
So, the Rangers made it THE World Series.
Awesome.
So, you know my Dad has been
a season ticket holder
for 34 years.
Awesome.
That means he gets first dibs on buying
tickets to the World Series.
And he did.
He offered Ryan and I one ticket to
this Sunday's game.
On Halloween.
After much discussion,
I told Ryan I wanted him to take the ticket.
The man works so hard for our family and deserves it.
Needless to say he is beyond stoked.
I am so happy for him.
That means I will be "doing" Halloween with the kids sans Ryan
which won't be the same. =(
Since my brother will be at the game too,
my SIL is coming over with her precious girls
to celebrate with my crew.
It should be fun!

That's it!
Have a great week, friends!!

I'd say Ryan is a keeper. I'm sure you are all excited about your team being in the World Series. Enjoy! La

What a lucky guy...getting to go to the world series..I'm jealous :) Our family is huge Baseball fans! I have to say, we are rooting for the Giants. My husband coached one of the Giant's players. Tell your hubs to have a great time and take some cool pictures.

OK, so I'm on the same level as your boys. I got busted by a random woman pointing and laughing at the sheep balls...same sheep. I was trying to get Ryan's attention but got this lady's instead and she didn't even try to smile or laugh at me...just glared. OK, sorry old lady! I didn't know you are use to seeing balls that large and droopy...Excuuuuuuuuuuuuse Moiiiiii!!
